The European Environmental Bureau is seeking a Fundraising and Development Officer to drive fundraising strategy, engage donors, and coordinate across teams ahead of the 2029 European elections. You will report to the Director of Membership and Governance and collaborate with the internal fundraising team.

You will develop new proposals, monitor funding opportunities, and support member engagement in decentralised fundraising efforts. This role offers growth across the European network.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of fundraising and development experience.
• Proven track record of submitting successful project applications.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to our cause.
• Strong knowledge of CSO funding at European level.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with donor outreach and coordination.
• Knowledge of healthy project management and MEL frameworks.
• Experience in civil society or membership organisations is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Implement the 2025–2030 EEB fundraising strategy.
• Support donor relations and fundraising team with strategic fundraising.
• Research funding opportunities and coordinate EU LIFE applications.
• Develop and submit project proposals.
• Maintain donor and project databases and track funding.
• Organise trainings and engage membership in fundraising.
• Coordinate fundraising across EEB teams.
