BDO Belgium is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and scale secure, cloud-native web applications for internal teams and clients. You will join a growing Web Development practice and collaborate with consultants, cloud engineers, UX designers and stakeholders to deliver innovative digital products.

You will contribute to modern web applications, iterate on frontend and backend features, and promote secure, scalable solutions with a focus on AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in modern full-stack web development for Medior level, or 5+ years for Senior level.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript in the Node.js ecosystem.
• Frontend experience with frameworks such as Svelte/SvelteKit, React, Vue or Next.js.
• Database knowledge: SQL, relational databases and ORM or query-builder patterns.
• CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments and modern deployment practices. GitHub Actions is a plus.
• Security mindset: secure development principles, authentication, authorization, OWASP Top 10 and data protection requirements.
• Software engineering best practices: Git workflows, testing and maintainable code architecture.
• AI affinity: interest in AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies.
• Language proficiency: Fluent in Dutch or French, with strong English.
• Team spirit: collaborative mindset and ambition to contribute to a growing and innovative practice.

Responsabilités

• Build modern applications by developing and extending internal and client-facing web applications using modern full-stack technologies.
• Deliver performant, accessible and maintainable frontend and backend features.
• Integrate business systems through APIs, enterprise platforms and identity management solutions.
• Develop cloud-native applications with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, scalability and operational excellence.
• Improve reusable components, developer tooling, testing practices and architectural standards.
• Promote quality and security by applying secure coding principles, authentication and authorization best practices, automated testing and GDPR-friendly development.
• Leverage AI technologies by using tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to enhance productivity and software delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisziplinary teams to translate business requirements into elegant and practical technical solutions.
• Share knowledge and mentor colleagues through code reviews, best practices and technical coaching.
• Help grow the practice by contributing to the evolution of BDO's web development capabilities, standards and delivery methodologies.

• Relevant experience:3+ years of experience in modern full-stack web development forMediorlevel, or 5+ years for Senior level.
