Photon seeks a senior frontend leader to own end-to-end delivery of a large-scale UI platform (web and mobile). You will drive micro-frontend architecture, design systems, and shared standards to enable multiple teams to ship cohesively while maintaining performance and accessibility.

You will manage offshore developers, enforce delivery commitments, and hands-on unblock critical work. Expect collaboration with product and security teams and a strong emphasis on WCAG, OAuth/OIDC, and robust test

Qualifications

• 8+ years in front-end engineering, with 3+ years as a tech lead owning end-to-end delivery of large-scale web apps.
• Expert, architecture-level React (web and mobile) and Node.js/TypeScript.
• Proven design experience with Webpack, Module Federation, and micro-frontend architecture in production.
• Strong grounding in state management patterns (Redux, Context, signals, or equivalent).
• Experience architecting a UI design system and working with design tooling (Figma).
• Deep knowledge of ARIA/accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to enforce them.
• Strong CSS architecture for design-system-driven styling at scale.
• Proven ability to define and enforce UI performance measurement and optimization.
• Knowledge of OAuth/OIDC and OWASP practices for front-end apps.
• Financial-services or regulated-industry experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Own delivery of the micro-frontend strategy across teams, including module boundaries and setup.
• Define the UI design system — libraries, tokens, and design-to-code handoffs from Figma.
• Set standards for state management across React apps and CSS architecture at scale.
• Own accessibility compliance delivery across portal surfaces.
• Define UI performance budgets and monitor performance and errors in production.
• Direct authentication delivery using OAuth/OIDC and enforce OWASP web security standards.
• Set A/B testing approach and deployment patterns for UI services.
• Define test automation strategy (Playwright) and quality gates for UI releases.
• Run offshore senior developer delivery including sprint commitments and code reviews.
• Report delivery status, risks, and blockers to engineering leadership.
