SearchApi is seeking a builder-designer hybrid who can craft a premium developer-facing product. Design in Figma and ship in production with Rails + Hotwire, Tailwind, and a native HTML-first approach.

You own the UI from dashboard to API playground, ensuring fast, data-dense experiences for engineers. You’ll work directly on the dashboard, API console, and docs, driving a cohesive, scalable frontend that delights developers and raises signups and retention.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and shipping frontend you designed yourself for a SaaS product.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Strong taste and discipline to ship production code with tests.

Responsabilités

• Design and ship features from Figma to merged PR in production.
• Own the dashboard: usage analytics, billing, API keys, and a clean data-dense console.
• Build interactive API playgrounds that show live, structured JSON.
• Own docs and marketing experience to keep components coherent and fast.
• Create honest data visualizations using a semantic color system.
• Push Hotwire to its limits; prefer native HTML over heavy client-side state.
