Job summary

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS Group in Brussels is seeking a Front-end Architect fluent in English to join the Development team on site, collaborating closely with a major client’s IT team.

Based in Brussels, you will design and implement advanced front-end solutions, drive architectural decisions, and ensure high-quality UI across the eConsilium ecosystem. This role offers a first-class opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies on customer premises and at company premises.

Qualifications

• University IT degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in Angular, REST APIs, Java, Spring Boot/MVC, GraphQL, Hibernate.
• Proven UX design experience and familiarity with Angular Material UI or CSS such as SASS.
• Experience defining IT architecture across client and server projects.
• Experience with middleware and related challenges.
• Knowledge of UML and MDA modelling.
• Good Enterprise Architecture understanding.
• Ability to collaborate with developers using GIT and Atlassian tools.

Responsibilities

• Detailed frontend design and development of new web apps in the eConsilium ecosystem.
• Define architecture components best suited to the functional and technical constraints.
• Implement the proposed frontend architecture.
• Analyze impact of requirements and set priorities for delivery.
• Model components and transfer knowledge to the development team.
• Collaborate with on-site client IT teams and monitor progress.

Job description

We currently have a vacancy for an Front-end Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Tasks:

• Detailed (technical) design and (front-end) development of new web applications/modules in the eConsilium ecosystem;
• Draw up an architecture by defining the components which are best suited to the functional and technological constraints;
• Implement the proposed architecture;
• Impact analysis: measure the impact of technical requirements on the existing system and suggest priorities;
• Component modelling;
• Transfer of knowledge to the development team;
• Monitoring developments;
• Integrate third-party solution with a system/an application.

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 8 years; Excellent experience with Angular, REST APIs, Java, Spring (Boot, MVC), GraphQL, Hibernate;
• Excellent experience with UX best practices, and Angular/Material Design UI frameworks or CSS systems such as SASS to compile style files;
• Experience in defining IT architecture on various projects (client and server);
• Experience with middleware development and with its related issues;
• Experience with UML and MDA modelling;
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
• Ability to work on web based or system-to-system applications collaboratively with a team of developers using GIT repositories and Atlassian stack tools (Jira/Confluence/Bamboo/etc.);
• Excellent command of the English language.
