Job summary

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS Group seeks a Front-end Architect based in Brussels, Belgium, fluent in English. The role involves architecture-driven front-end development within the eConsilium ecosystem, collaborating closely with a major client’s IT team on site.

The successful candidate will design components, implement the architecture, and transfer knowledge to the development team, with strong experience in Angular, REST APIs, Java, Spring, GraphQL, and UX best practices.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT with relevant professional experience.
• 8+ years IT experience and strong front-end architecture background.
• Proven expertise in Angular, REST APIs, Java, Spring, GraphQL and Hibernate.
• Experience with UX best practices and Angular/Material UI frameworks or SASS.
• Ability to define IT architecture across client and server projects.
• Proficient in UML/MDA modelling and Enterprise Architecture principles.
• Experience with GIT and Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence/Bamboo).
• Excellent command of English.

Responsibilities

Job description

We currently have a vacancy for an Front-end Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Tasks:

• Detailed (technical) design and (front-end) development of new web applications/modules in the eConsilium ecosystem;
• Draw up an architecture by defining the components which are best suited to the functional and technological constraints;
• Implement the proposed architecture;
• Impact analysis: measure the impact of technical requirements on the existing system and suggest priorities;
• Component modelling;
• Transfer of knowledge to the development team;
• Monitoring developments;
• Integrate third-party solution with a system/an application.

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 8 years; Excellent experience with Angular, REST APIs, Java, Spring (Boot, MVC), GraphQL, Hibernate;
• Excellent experience with UX best practices, and Angular/Material Design UI frameworks or CSS systems such as SASS to compile style files;
• Experience in defining IT architecture on various projects (client and server);
• Experience with middleware development and with its related issues;
• Experience with UML and MDA modelling;
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
• Ability to work on web based or system-to-system applications collaboratively with a team of developers using GIT repositories and Atlassian stack tools (Jira/Confluence/Bamboo/etc.);
• Excellent command of the English language.
