Dsv Air & Sea SAU is seeking a Freight Forwarder Seafreight in Antwerp to manage the entire transport process from A-Z. Responsibilities include providing end-to-end freight forwarding services and maintaining customer communications.

The ideal candidate has experience in freight forwarding and is fluent in Dutch and English. The position offers a competitive benefits package including meal vouchers, group insurance, home office options, and flexible working hours.

Qualifications

• A few years of experience within Freight Forwarding (Seafreight).
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Fluency in learning new computer programs.
• IMDG + Codex training is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily service and maintain contacts with customers regarding seafreight export shipments.
• Create shipments in the TMS system.
• Book shipments with partners according to agreements.
• Give instructions to the customs team for customs documents preparation.
• Maintain daily contacts within the DSV network for shipment announcements.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and data quality.
• Apply DSV Compliance standards.

As an ocean freight forwarder, you compile your own shipments and coordinate the entire transport process from A-Z.

You get it done

Provide end‑to‑end freight forwarding services, from daily service to shipment booking and compliance.

Tasks

• Providing daily service and maintaining contacts with customers, and communicating about seafreight export shipments.
• Creating shipments in the TMS system.
• Booking shipments with various partners (carriers, shipping companies) according to established agreements.
• Giving instructions to the customs team for the preparation of customs documents.
• Maintaining daily contacts within the DSV network for shipment announcements and preparing quotes.
• Being responsible for accurate invoicing and data quality.
• Applying DSV Compliance (Security, Embargo countries, Carriers, Commodities).

You bring

• You have already a few years of experience within Freight Forwarding (Seafreight).
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• You are fluent in learning new computer programs.
• IMDG + Codex training (preferred).
