NextSDS - Franz BV is seeking a certified Preventieadviseur to support Belgian clients in managing chemical agents in the workplace. You will conduct risk assessments, review Safety Data Sheets for regulatory compliance, and advise on safe handling practices.

This freelance role allows you to manage client engagements independently while leveraging the NextSDS platform for enhanced efficiency. Experience with REACH and CLP regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with chemical agents in workplace settings.
• Hands-on experience with REACH, CLP, and SDS management.
• Ability to write risk assessments and safety instruction cards in Dutch and/or French.

Help Belgian clients manage chemical agents (chemische agentia) in the workplace. You bring expertise in risk assessment, SDS management, and REACH/CLP compliance.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Preventieadviseur with a focus on chemical agents (chemische agentia) to join our freelance network in Belgium. You’ll work directly with NextSDS clients to assess risks related to hazardous substances, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement safe handling practices.

How this works

You bring the NextSDS platform into engagements with the clients you already serve, and we route inbound requests in your region to you. You hold the client relationship. We invoice the client for the platform; you invoice on top for your services.

What you’ll do

• Conduct risk assessments for chemical agents in the workplace
• Review and validate Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for compliance with CLP and REACH
• Advise on exposure limits, storage, and safe handling of hazardous substances
• Support clients with their obligations under the Welzijnswet, Codex, and the KB Chemische Agentia
• Use the NextSDS platform to handle safety instruction cards, regulatory tracking and risk‑assessment drafts faster than you can by hand

What we’re looking for

• A certified Preventieadviseur (niveau 1 or 2) with proven experience in chemical agents
• Hands‑on experience with REACH, CLP, and SDS management
• Comfortable writing risk assessments and safety instruction cards in Dutch and/or French
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements
