Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking a freelance Onderhoudstechnicus to keep our food production machines and lines running near Genk, on a 6-month contract. The role focuses on hands-on electromechanics with mid-voltage work in a wet, cool production environment.

The candidate will improve existing equipment, develop automation as production evolves, and work mornings 6am–2pm onsite, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Technical background in electromechanics, electricity, mechanics or a similar field.
• Strong electrical knowledge in mid-voltage systems.
• Experience with BAADER equipment is a significant advantage.
• Exposure to food production environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and improve the machines and installations.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, analyse failures and solve them quickly.
• Set up and adjust production lines, monitor performance and optimize runnability.
• Adjust and sharpen knives on the production line.
• Work on electrical and mechanical components, cooling systems and related infrastructure.
• Help develop and implement new technical solutions and automation.
