Michael Page is seeking a Freelance Construction Manager EPC / Piping in Belgium for a consulting assignment. The role focuses on owning the piping activity and driving EPC project development across sectors, coordinating from engineering through commissioning.

You will work closely with engineering, design and construction teams on turnkey projects, leveraging your expertise in piping, mechanical and electrical interfaces while exploring opportunities in new sectors, including data centres.

Qualifications

• Experience in EPC project delivery within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of piping and industrial installations.
• Experience from engineering through commissioning.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical interfaces.
• Experience in oil & gas, chemicals, petrochemicals or pharma is a strong asset.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify opportunities and contribute to business development.
• Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of the piping activity and contribute to its strategic development and commercial growth.
• Identify and pursue new turnkey EPC projects beyond maintenance and installation.
• Coordinate projects from design through execution, installation and commissioning.
• Collaborate with engineering, design and construction teams for feasible delivery.
• Leverage piping, mechanical and electrical interfaces to develop integrated solutions.
• Help strengthen the company's position in traditional markets and explore data centre opportunities.
• Visit construction sites to ensure progress aligns with plans and deadlines.
