Job summary

Michael Page Belgium is seeking a Freelance Construction Manager EPC / Piping to drive the piping activity, lead turnkey EPC projects, and oversee end-to-end delivery from engineering through commissioning. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across design, engineering and construction while strengthening the company’s position in traditional industrial markets and exploring new sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management, EPC project delivery within an industrial environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of piping and industrial installations.
• Experience managing projects from engineering and design through to construction and commissioning.
• Experience in oil & gas, chemicals, petrochemicals or pharmaceutical industries is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of piping activity and contribute to its strategic development and commercial growth.
• Identify and pursue new turnkey projects, moving beyond maintenance and installation toward full project delivery.
• End-to-End Project Management: Coordinate projects from the design and engineering phases through execution, installation and commissioning.
• Technical Coordination: Work with engineering, design and construction teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful project delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Leverage expertise in piping, mechanical and electrical disciplines, as well as modular construction, to develop integrated solutions.
• Business Growth: Help strengthen the company's position in its traditional industrial markets while exploring opportunities in new sectors, including data centres.
• Be present at construction sites to ensure plans and deadlines are met.

• Business Unit Development: Take ownership of the piping activity and contribute to its strategic development and commercial growth ;
• EPC Project Development: Identify and pursue new turnkey projects, moving beyond maintenance and installation towards full project delivery ;
• End-to-End Project Management: Coordinate projects from the design and engineering phases through execution, installation and commissioning ;
• Technical Coordination: Work closely with engineering, design and construction teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful project delivery ;
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Leverage expertise in piping, mechanical and electrical disciplines, as well as modular construction, to develop integrated solutions ;
• Business Growth: Help strengthen the company's position in its traditional industrial markets while exploring opportunities in new sectors, including data centres ;
• Be present at construciton sites to make sure all is going according to the plan & deadline ;

The Successful Applicant

A successful Freelance Construction Manager EPC / Piping, you should have:

• Proven experience in construction management, EPC project delivery within an industrial environment ;
• Strong technical knowledge of piping and industrial installations ;
• Experience managing projects from engineering and design through to construction and commissioning ;
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical interfaces ;
• Experience in oil & gas, chemicals, petrochemicals or pharmaceutical industries is a strong asset ;
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and contribute to business development ;
• Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skill ;
