X4 Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Electrical Package Owner for a project at an Antwerp region chemical manufacturing plant in Belgium. The role focuses on owning the electrical package, coordinating electrical scope, and serving as the key contact between client, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure safe, on-time delivery and commissioning.

Responsibilities include coordinating design reviews, procurement, installation, testing, and interfacing with other disciplines.

Responsabilités

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Package Owner to support a s project at a chemical manufacturing plant in Belgium.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the electrical package and act as the key point of contact between the client, contractors, engineering teams and other project stakeholders. The role will focus on ensuring the electrical scope is properly coordinated, delivered and commissioned safely and in line with project requirements.

The project includes significant electrical infrastructure, including an electrical substation and associated plant electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall ownership of the electrical package within the project.
• Coordinate electrical engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning activities.
• Act as the main electrical point of contact for the client and project stakeholders.
• Manage and coordinate electrical contractors and suppliers.
• Oversee works related to substations, switchgear, transformers, distribution systems and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Review electrical designs, drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety and compliance of the electrical works.
• Coordinate interfaces between electrical, mechanical, process, automation and civil disciplines.
• Support FAT/SAT, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and project interfaces.
• Ensure the electrical package is delivered according to schedule and project requirements.
• Participate in site meetings and provide regular progress updates to the project team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Package Owner, Electrical Project Engineer, Electrical Construction Manager or similar.
• Strong experience with industrial electrical installations.
• Experience working on chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or other process-industry projects.
• Experience with electrical substations and medium/high-voltage electrical infrastructure.
• Good understanding of LV/MV distribution, transformers, switchgear and electrical protection systems.
• Experience coordinating contractors and multiple project stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a site-based project environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent English required; Dutch is highly advantageous.
• Available for a freelance assignment.
