Michael Page International (Belgium) seeks an Industrial Engineer specialized in E&I to design and document LV/MV electrical systems for modular industrial environments, including single-line diagrams and wiring layouts.

You will develop instrumentation documentation, manage interfaces with piping, mechanical, and automation teams, and support procurement and project execution while ensuring QA/QC and compliance with IEC standards.

Qualifications

• Industrial Engineer with 5+ years in E&I engineering in industrial environments.
• Strong expertise in LV/MV electrical systems and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and control architectures (HART, Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, OPC UA).
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsabilités

• Design and document LV/MV electrical systems, including single-line diagrams, cabling, layouts, grounding, lighting, transformers, switchgear, busbars, UPS and generators.
• Develop and maintain electrical and instrumentation documentation, including datasheets, cable schedules, I/O lists, loop diagrams and hook-up drawings.
• Coordinate interfaces with piping, mechanical, structural, automation, workshop and procurement teams.
• Support technical procurement and project execution through bid reviews, technical meetings and QA/QC.
• Ensure documentation traceability and compliance with applicable standards.

About Our Client

The client is an international engineering and industrial project partner delivering modularized systems, skids, and integrated technical solutions for demanding industrial and data center environments.

Job Description

• Design and document LV/MV electrical systems, including single-line diagrams, cabling, cable routing, layouts, grounding, lighting, transformers, switchgear, busbars, UPS systems, emergency generators, electrical tracing, and other associated equipment.
• Develop and maintain electrical and instrumentation documentation, including equipment datasheets and specifications, cable schedules, material take-offs, I/O lists, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, junction box documentation, communication cable lists, and functional analyses.
• Manage the instrumentation scope, including the selection and integration of pressure, temperature, level and flow instruments, analyzers, control valves, on/off valves, remote I/O, fire & gas detection systems, and related equipment.
• Coordinate technical interfaces with piping, mechanical, structural, automation, workshop, and procurement teams, ensuring that electrical and instrumentation designs are compatible with modular construction, assembly, testing, and site installation requirements.
• Support technical procurement and project execution by reviewing supplier quotations, leading technical clarification meetings, preparing technical bid comparisons, validating process data, supporting workshop configuration, and ensuring documentation, traceability, QA/QC, and applicable standards are respected.

The Successful Applicant

• Industrial Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in E&I engineering within an industrial environment such as oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, energy, manufacturing, or data centers.
• Strong technical expertise in electrical engineering and instrumentation, including LV/MV systems, industrial electrical equipment, instrumentation, cabling, control systems, and associated engineering documentation.
• Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols and control architectures, including HART, Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, OPC UA, ESD systems, process control systems, and SIL principles in accordance with IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
• Fluent in English and French
