Vivid Resourcing seeks 3 freelance Data Engineers to help build a modern data platform in Antwerp. You will work within the Data & Analytics team to support data engineers, analysts, and scientists on a cloud-based Azure platform.

Responsibilities include building pipelines, warehouses, and lakes, ensuring data reliability for reporting, analytics and AI applications, and collaborating in agile projects with internal teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of Data/Cloud engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Azure and modern data platforms.
• Experience with Python, Git/GitHub, and IaC (Terraform).
• Databricks experience is a strong advantage.

For a customer in Antwerp, we are searching for 3 freelance Data Engineers to help build a modern data platform that supports data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists.

Within the Data & Analytics team, you will contribute to the development and management of a cloud-based data platform on Microsoft Azure. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that data is reliable, accessible, and usable for reporting, analytics, and AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Build data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lake solutions.
• Support analytics and AI applications within the data platform.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues.
• Document solutions, processes, and integrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners in agile projects.
• Help develop tools and frameworks that support data teams.

Profile

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent experience.
• You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a similar role.
• You have knowledge of Microsoft Azure and modern data platforms.
• You have experience with Python, Git/GitHub, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with Databricks is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of dbt, Airflow, Linux scripting, or data warehousing is a plus.
• You work independently, take initiative, and have an analytical mindset.
• You communicate effectively and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team.
