VOI in Belgium seeks a hands-on Fleet Specialist Team Lead to balance repair tasks with leadership duties. You will divide time roughly 80% on repairs and 20% on hiring, training, and performance follow-up, guiding a team of Fleet Specialists.

Responsibilities include logistics support, quality control, and talent development, with collaboration on scheduling and process improvements to meet targets and improve operations.

• Valid driving license is required.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience repairing scooters is essential.

• Basic proficiency with MS Office and G-suite tools.

• Carry out repair tasks and oversee 80% of time.
• Lead and develop the Fleet Specialist team (20%).
• Ensure safe, efficient work and drive performance improvements.
• Interview, train and mentor team members to build capability.
• Coordinate with site managers to optimize shift planning and schedules.

YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As a Fleet Specialist Team Lead, you will divide your time between repairtasks (80%) and managerial tasks (20%), eg. hiring, training and following up on performance, for our team of Fleet Specialists. This will include:

• Logistics: Supporting and collaborating with the team on receiving, packing and deploying new vehicles

• Upholding Quality Standards: Collaborating closely with the team to identify and rectify damaged vehicles in the best possible way.

• Team Management: Oversee your team's activities, ensuring tasks are conducted safely and efficiently, and work proactively to cultivate team performance and enhance processes to meet set expectations

• Cultivating Talent: Interview, train, and nurture a team environment that ensures year-round operational success, in line with set performance targets

• Synergistic Planning: Collaborating with site managers to optimize work schedules, ensure efficient shift planning and execution

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

We are looking for a hands-on team leader with a proactive mindset who can roll up their sleeves and take the initiative to overcome challenges and drive improvement in the day to day operations. Key qualifications include:

• A valid driving license

• Fluent in English& French

• Experience with repairing scooters

• Previous leadership experience and skills in promoting and nurturing team collaboration

• Basic knowledge and ability to use digital tools, including MS Office and G-suite

• A strong sense of ownership and a proactive and positive attitude
