VOI in Belgium seeks a hands-on Fleet Specialist Team Lead to drive both repair tasks and people management. You will split your time: about 80% on repair work and 20% on coaching, hiring and performance follow-up for a team of Fleet Specialists.

You will coordinate logistics for new vehicles, uphold quality standards by addressing vehicle issues, and oversee scheduling with site managers to ensure smooth operations and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving license.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience repairing scooters.
• Proven leadership and ability to drive team collaboration.
• Proficient with MS Office and G-Suite.
• Strong ownership and proactive attitude.

Responsabilités

YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As a Fleet Specialist Team Lead, you will divide your time between repair tasks (80%) and managerial tasks (20%), eg. hiring, training and following up on performance, for our team of Fleet Specialists. This will include:

• Logistics: Supporting and collaborating with the team on receiving, packing and deploying new vehicles

• Upholding Quality Standards: Collaborating closely with the team to identify and rectify damaged vehicles in the best possible way.

• Team Management: Oversee your team's activities, ensuring tasks are conducted safely and efficiently, and work proactively to cultivate team performance and enhance processes to meet set expectations

• Cultivating Talent: Interview, train, and nurture a team environment that ensures year-round operational success, in line with set performance targets

• Synergistic Planning: Collaborating with site managers to optimize work schedules, ensure efficient shift planning and execution

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

We are looking for a hands-on team leader with a proactive mindset who can roll up their sleeves and take the initiative to overcome challenges and drive improvement in the day to day operations. Key qualifications include:

• A valid driving license

• Fluent in English & French

• Experience with repairing scooters

• Previous leadership experience and skills in promoting and nurturing team collaboration

• Basic knowledge and ability to use digital tools, including MS Office and G-suite

• A strong sense of ownership and a proactive and positive attitude
