Pulso is a Belgian MedTech startup seeking its first engineer who will build the company from the ground up. You won’t inherit a team or a playbook; you’ll create them and shape the product as it scales toward a co-founder level position.

You’ll own technical development end-to-end, design in vitro cardiovascular simulations, coordinate suppliers, and translate client needs into robust solutions while maintaining autonomy in a very small, fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electromechanical, or biomedical engineering or equivalent.
• First R&D or hands-on mechanical engineering experience in MedTech is recommended.
• Experience taking a physical product from CAD/prototype through testing and launch is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own technical development end-to-end: design, prototype, assemble, test, and improve Pulso's products.
• Design and run in vitro test campaigns: define simulation protocols and validate devices.
• Build the engineering function from scratch: set up CAD/version control, BOM management, test protocols, and documentation.
• Run technical projects autonomously: coordinate suppliers, anticipate risks, and deliver.
• Bridge engineering and field: translate client needs into technical solutions and represent Pulso externally.
• Industrialize current valve simulators into robust, reproducible products.
• Develop the next generation of cardiovascular simulators from concept to delivery.
