Pulso, a Belgian MedTech startup, seeks the first engineer to build the company’s engineering function from the ground up in Mons, Belgium. You’ll own end-to-end development, run in vitro campaigns, and directly shape product strategy with the founder and clients.

You’ll translate clinical needs into robust hardware and software, collaborate across disciplines, and position yourself on a track toward a co-founder role as Pulso scales.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, electromechanical, biomedical engineering, or equivalent.
• First R&D or hands-on mechanical engineering experience, ideally in MedTech.
• Experience taking a physical product from CAD/prototype through testing, manufacturing, or market launch.
• Genuine entrepreneurial streak with ownership and startup exposure.

Responsabilités

• Own technical development end-to-end: design, prototype, assemble, test, and improve products and setups.
• Design and run in vitro test campaigns: define protocols, replicate conditions, validate devices.
• Build the engineering function from scratch: CAD/version control, BOM, test protocols, documentation.
• Run technical projects autonomously: coordinate suppliers, manage risks, deliver results.
• Bridge engineering and field: translate client/clinical needs into technical solutions and present to clients.
