VS Consulting Group in Belgium is seeking a Finance Consultant to join our Brussels-based team. You will manage accounting end-to-end, coordinate monthly closings, and deliver robust FP&A support for diverse clients, including SMEs and large corporations.

As an official Odoo partner, you will help drive finance transformation and automation across accounting, treasury, and reporting. Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is required; a Belgian work permit is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as finance professional.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English.
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with ERP tools and AI is a plus.
• Experience with Odoo is a strong asset.

Responsabilités

• Manage accounting from A to Z (AP, AR, bank reconciliations, GL).
• Coordinate periodic closing activities.
• Payroll booking and reconciliation.
• Reporting and dashboard preparation.
• Assist clients in audits (financial, tax, internal) when required.
• Collaborate on finance transformation and automation projects.

We are hiring a Finance Consultant - to join our team in Belgium!

Specialized in financial & digital consulting, our clients range from SME’s to big corporations within various sectors (manufacturing, services, SaaS, retail, etc.) and we deliver diverse projects such as accounting & admin support, financial reporting, controlling, treasury, and finance transformation.

You will be part of VS Consulting team that is working closely with CEO’s of start-ups and scale-ups to address critical challenges and transform finance process. And for multinationals with a need for financial expertise.

Typical projects that you will be working on include :

• Manage accounting from A to Z (AP, AR, Banks reconciliation, GL, etc.)
• Manage/coordinate periodic closing
• Payroll booking and reconciliation
• Reporting/dashboard preparation
• Assist our clients in different audits (financial, tax, internal) when required
• Collaborate on finance transformation projects and automation of accounting/FP&A processes

In order to reinforce our consulting team in Brussels, we are looking for a Finance Consultant with experience in accounting, controlling or FP&A.

Who we look for :

• Proven experience as Finance Professional
• Good communicator, you express yourself fluently in French/Dutch and English
• MS office (Excel, Power point, word), ERP tools, AI (Claude, ChatGPT,..)
• Knowledge of Odoo is a strong asset
• Excellent presentation skills since you are dealing with C-level stakeholders
• Combine strong technical expertise with a client focused approach
• Team player, able to work effectively with all stakeholders (internal and external)
• Working permit for Belgium is mandatory
