JERA Nex bp in Belgium is seeking a finance professional to join their Treasury & Economic Analysis team. The role involves performing financial modeling and engaging in project development within the offshore wind sector. You will join the Treasury & Economic Analysis team and be part of the wider Finance department of JERA Nex bp. The team is made up of approximately 10 people working to design and execute the best corporate and project finance solutions.

In this role you will

• Perform financial modelling, structuring and scenario analysis including coordination with all stakeholders to gather and understand the most up to date information
• Participate in the project developments including interaction with internal committees, partners, lenders and advisors
• Support the preparation and review of internal and external economic presentations
• Prepare or supervise the preparation of adequate bank reporting and covenants follow-up for the existing offshore wind financings
• Keep a close eye on financing trends in offshore wind and the renewable industry in general

Who are we looking for?

• Master’s degree in finance and/or engineering
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in project finance and/or power sector finance
• Proven experience in Excel economic modelling
• Team-player
• Hands on, responsible, structured with strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills
