YUST Group is seeking a Financial/Business Controller to oversee the financial operations of our Hotel Group from its Antwerp base. You will prepare monthly reports for OpCos, validate inputs, assist in budgets, and support Board presentations and annual audits.

The role requires Dutch/English fluency, Excel prowess, and travel to the Netherlands/Germany. A strong accounting background with a focus on optimization and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• First experience as a financial controller
• Proficient in financial software (Experience in Exact Online is a plus) and advanced Excel
• Sociable, a team player and an excellent communicator in Dutch and English (French or German is a plus)
• Willing to travel from time to time (Netherlands/Germany)
• Excellent analytical and organizational ability
• Experience in real estate accounting is an asset
• Always on the lookout for optimization in workflows and processes

Responsabilités

• Oversee invoice processing and accounting with external providers
• Coordinate with external accounting firms for bookkeeping
• Provide OpCo financial data for acquisition plans
• Monitor and improve financial processes for efficiency and compliance
• Manage credit applications and oversee the credit portfolio for all companies
• Support CEO and senior stakeholders with ad hoc analyses
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting for decision-making

With the continued growth of the concept, YUST Group is on the lookout for an additional Financial/Business Controller.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

As YUST Group’s Financial/Business Controller you will oversee the financial operations of our Hotel Group. Your responsibilities will include, among others:

• Prepare and manage monthly financial reports for operational companies (OpCos)
• Review and validate financial inputs and results from OpCos, acting as a liaison between OpCos and the YUST Group CEO
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for both OpCos and YUST Group
• Provide financial input for quarterly Board of Directors presentations, with a focus on key financial metrics
• Support the preparation of financial statements and documentation for the annual audit
• Contribute to the financial sections of the annual report and the minutes of the General Assembly
• Oversee invoice processing and accounting, coordinated through external service providers
• Coordinate with external accounting firms to ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping
• Provide OpCo financial data and insights for acquisition business plans

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Monitor and improve financial processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance
• Manage credit applications and oversee the credit portfolio for all (daughter) companies

Strategic Support

• Support the CEO and other senior stakeholders with ad hoc financial analyses
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to support decision‑making at all levels

GOT THE SKILLS?

• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field or have equivalent experience
• A first experience as a financial controller
• Proficient in financial software (experience in Exact Online is a plus) and advanced Excel skills
• Sociable, a team player and an excellent communicator in Dutch and English (French or German is a plus) with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Well‑structured and detail‑oriented but with a hands‑on and no‑nonsense mentality
• You are willing and have the ability to travel from time to time (Netherlands/Germany).
• Excellent analytical and organisational ability
• Experience in real estate accounting is considered an asset
• Always on the lookout for optimisation in workflows and processes
