Johnson & Johnson in Belgium is seeking a Treasury Accountant to own cash management transactions for multiple affiliates. You will process postings from electronic bank statements and support month-end closings within strict deadlines.

The role requires a Master's in Finance/Economics/Accounting, 2 years in international finance, English fluency, and strong ownership. You will ensure US GAAP alignment and assist in the S4 HANA transformation within a hybrid, on-site/remote setup.

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting.
• 2 years of Finance/Accounting experience in international environment.
• Fluency in English mandatory.

• Accuracy and ability to work under deadlines.
• Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Execution of accounting transactions related to cash management for multiple affiliates and postings from electronic bank statements.
• Setting up new affiliates in the treasury system and aligning balances with Finance/Global Services teams.
• Monthly closing activities with strict deadlines and complete reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensuring alignment of accounting processes with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Maintain contact with treasury departments and support affiliates on treasury accounting issues.
• Support major transformation projects within affiliate treasury accounting, including S/4HANA.

roles and responsibilities

• Execution of the accounting transactions that relate to the cash management of a number of affiliates within the Johnson & Johnson group of companies. On a daily basis taking care of processing the postings related to electronic bank statements within a strict timeframe. Performing accounting for financial transactions and reconciling all amounts.
• Setting up new affiliates in the treasury system on a regular basis. Responsible for a correct alignment and implementation of balances and results. This is done in close alignment with the responsible Finance or Global Services teams.
• Taking care of the monthly closing activities. These need to be done within strict deadlines. Ensuring the financial data is fully reconciled and reported to other financial departments. Taking full ownership for correct reporting of treasury related transactions for assigned affiliates.
• Ensuring alignment of accounting processes with US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
• Maintaining close contact with other treasury departments and acting as the go-to person for the affiliates under assignment in order to give support on treasury accounting issues.
• Supporting activities to achieve project milestones successfully within the affiliate treasury accounting space as Treasury is in the middle of a major transformation program (S4 HANA implementation).

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will start ASAP and run until Feb 2028.
