Johnson & Johnson Beerse is seeking a Data Engineering & BI contractor to drive analytics, system management, and AI-driven tasks within a small, collaborative team.

You will translate evolving requirements into structured data solutions, build AI agents with Copilot Desktop, and deliver scalable Power BI dashboards while integrating Snowflake data sources and enterprise data models.

Qualifications

• Experience building AI agents, especially with Copilot Desktop.
• Strong Snowflake data integration and creating structured data mockups.
• Advanced Power BI data modeling and reporting.
• Experience with SAP/Beacon, demand forecasting, and resource allocation is beneficial.

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering & BI contractor to support a small, tight-knit team focusing on analytics, system management, and AI-driven tasks. You will act as a crucial bridge between business and data, translating ambiguous requirements into structured data solutions and actionable insights.

roles and responsibilities

You will be responsible for spearheading AI agent development, integrating enterprise data sources, and enabling scalable reporting.

This will involve:

• Developing and integrating AI agents (specifically using Copilot Desktop) as a primary focus of your day-to-day project work.
• Designing, building, and managing data mockups and structural integrations within Snowflake.
• Building scalable data models and analytical dashboards in Power BI.
• Working closely and transparently with a small team to manage complex data sources and analytics.
• Integrating disparate data sources into a single unified data model, including Demand, Supply, Actuals, and Allocation layers.

To be successful, you must have a strong problem-solving mindset, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to comfortably navigate a complex data landscape with evolving requirements.

You will also bring:

• Demonstrated expertise in building and developing AI agents, particularly with Copilot Desktop.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake integration and creating structured data mockups.
• Advanced development skills in Power BI (data modeling and reporting).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in a small, highly collaborative, and transparent team environment.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Proficiency in Dutch is highly preferred.
• Experience with SAP/Beacon, demand/supply forecasting, and resource allocation is highly beneficial.
• A background in the financial sector is considered a strong plus.

This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for 1 year (extendable).
