EDGX is a fast-growing Belgian spacetech company building the compute layer for space economies. We seek a Finance Officer to lead financial controlling, closing, reporting and budgeting, with hands-on accounting support as needed.

You'll shape processes in a rapidly expanding startup, monitor cashflow, and drive dashboards for leadership visibility while supporting audits and VAT filings. A Master’s in Finance or Accounting and 3–5 years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• 3–5 years experience in financial controlling or accounting.
• Experience in technical environments, space industry a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience (Odoo a plus).
• Knowledge of POC revenue recognition and WIP valuation.
• Precise, structured and detail-oriented with ownership.
• Hands-on, proactive and independent in a fast-paced setting.
• Good communication skills to explain financial matters clearly.

Responsabilités

• Analyse project profitability and provide insights for management.
• Monitor cashflow with rolling forecast; flag risks early.
• Support budgeting and forecasting; consolidate inputs and track actuals.
• Develop dashboards and management reporting for leadership visibility.
• Assist audits; gather documents and keep records audit-ready.
• Support external accountant with bookkeeping and P2P processing.
• Prepare monthly/year-end closings, VAT and Intrastat filings.
• Improve finance processes and tooling for scalability.
