Job Description: Finance Manager - Benelux

Reporting directly to the Benelux Finance Director, the Finance Manager will ensure the accurate and efficient management of financial accounting, reporting, and controls for the Shiseido Group Benelux operations. The role involves collaborating with the Finance Director to develop appropriate financial and business controls aligned with Shiseido EMEA and Japan HQ requirements. The Finance Manager will play a key role in the budgeting process, month-end close, and will actively seek opportunities to standardize and streamline processes. Additionally, the role includes managing external and internal audits.

Organisation

• Reports to the Benelux Finance Director.
• Job location: Brussels Office (with two days per week remote work possible).

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare affiliate budgets and P&Ls in collaboration with the Finance Director and General Manager, and monitor them in line with affiliate objectives.
• Set up and oversee the month-end close and rolling forecasts.
• Coordinate the yearly financial closing with the Accounting Department.
• Oversee and improve financial systems, processes, and controls.
• Manage the end-to-end process of internal group reporting.
• Act as the main contact for external auditors, requiring strong technical knowledge of IFRS and Belgian GAAP.
• Coach and motivate the finance team to foster an integrated performance culture.
• Coordinate with the EMEA RHQ Finance team.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in finance and team management.
• Proven experience managing the financial and accounting aspects of a business unit.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent relationship management abilities internally and externally.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
