Job summary

Joulz Belgium is seeking a Finance & Portfolio Management Analyst in Brussels. Open to junior and early-career candidates, with a role tailored to your experience. You will own core finance and accounting processes and grow into a central finance position within the Belgian organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or related field
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with numbers and Excel
• Fluent in Dutch or French and proficient in English
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, accounting software or Power BI is a plus

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of recurring finance administration and accounting follow-up, creating a reliable base for professionalisation
• Standardise and automate recurring finance processes to be efficient, controlled and scalable
• Support monthly performance reporting and the annual budget cycle, building stronger controlling capabilities
• Grow into a key finance contact for the Belgian organisation with increasing ownership
• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time
• Monitor incoming payments, reconcile status and follow up overdue receivables
• Support month-end activities and verify completeness and consistency of financial information
• Prepare recurring performance reporting and explain key deviations against budget and forecast
• Contribute to annual budget and forecasting by gathering assumptions and consolidating outputs
• Translate recurring manual work into standardised workflows and automation
