TOMRA Food in Belgium is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and maintain sorting machines across the EMEA North region. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and minimize downtime while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires at least 5 years in field service, strong mechanical and electrical know-how, willingness to travel up to 80%, and fluency in English. A valid driver's license and on-site work at customer sites are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field service experience.
• Solid hands-on with mechanical systems (pneumatics, hydraulics, rotating equipment).
• Good understanding of electrical systems is desirable.
• Willing to travel up to 80% in EMEA.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.

Responsabilités

• Install, commission, and maintain TOMRA sorting machines at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electromechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Support customers with training and best practices for daily machine operation.
• Document service activities and provide feedback to internal teams.
• Collaborate with service, engineering, and sales teams to deliver high-quality customer experience.
