At Ciner Glass Belgium, we seek a hands-on Facility Lead to drive smooth operations, oversee maintenance, and coordinate contracted services. You will collaborate with production, logistics, and office teams to meet quality and service standards, while improving processes and ensuring safety across our site.

You will manage a small team, set priorities, monitor KPIs, and report to the Deputy Managing Director, contributing to a modern, efficient facility from day one.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of facility management in its broadest sense.
• Experience coordinating and carrying out small maintenance activities (mechanical, electrical, painting, etc.).
• A practical passion for technology and hands-on maintenance work.
• Basic knowledge of procurement processes and an understanding of contracts and supplier management.
• Experience in people management and the ability to motivate and support a team.
• Technical insight and knowledge of building management, HVAC systems, utilities and safety systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure.
• Fluent in Dutch, both written and spoken; knowledge of English is considered an advantage.
• Comfortable working with common software applications; knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Responsabilités

• You ensure that buildings and site facilities are properly maintained. You coordinate the daily activities of the Facility Operators (2), assign tasks, set priorities and ensure that agreed quality and service standards are met.
• You act as the primary point of contact for facility-related questions from production, logistics and office departments.
• You manage and follow up on facility service contracts (cleaning, vending machines, catering, workwear, landscaping, waste management, etc.) and ensure their correct execution.
• You develop maintenance plans, define KPIs and SLAs, and document processes and procedures.
• You coordinate and perform small maintenance and repair works within the infrastructure and support renovation and improvement projects on site.
• You actively participate in the execution of technical facility-related tasks.
• You ensure compliance with safety, environmental and hygiene standards across all facilities.
• You identify improvement opportunities and contribute to building an efficient and structured facility organization.
• You lead your team members, conduct performance, development and motivation meetings, and identify training needs.
• You provide support during various on-site events.
• You report directly to the Deputy Managing Director.
