Nish Tech BV is hiring an F5 Network & Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade F5 BIG-IP solutions supporting mission-critical infrastructure across a multi-site environment. You will work on web application firewalling, access management integration, and performance tuning.

The role requires strong F5 BIG-IP expertise, hands-on LTM/APM/AWAF experience, and fluency in English with Dutch/French communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, ICT, Telecommunications or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong experience with F5 BIG-IP solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and implementing load balancing and high-availability architectures.
• Hands-on experience with F5 LTM, APm, AWAF/ASM, iRules, SSL Profiles, and Traffic Policies.

We are currently hiring an F5 Network & Security Engineer to join one of the largest energy transmission companies in Europe. This role offers the opportunity to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade F5 BIG-IP solutions supporting mission-critical infrastructure, application delivery, security, and high availability within a complex multi-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement F5 BIG-IP solutions for application delivery and network traffic management.
• Develop load balancing and high-availability architectures for enterprise applications.
• Configure and administer:
• Virtual Servers
• Pools
• Nodes
• Health Monitors
• iRules
• SSL Profiles
• Traffic Policies
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates, SSL offloading, encryption, traffic inspection, and reporting.
• Deploy and maintain F5 Advanced Web Application Firewall (AWAF) policies.
• Integrate authentication and access management using F5 APM and enterprise identity services.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and service optimization.
• Support incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Execute security patching, software upgrades, and lifecycle management of F5 infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot application delivery, connectivity, and performance issues, performing root cause analysis.
• Produce technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer documentation.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, networking, and operations teams to deliver secure and reliable services.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, ICT, Telecommunications, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong experience with F5 BIG-IP solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and implementing load balancing and high-availability architectures.
• Hands-on experience with:

• Understanding of network security concepts and architectures.

• Good working knowledge of Dutch and French.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Belgium.
