Phoenix Technologies seeks an experienced F5 Networking and Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage F5 BIG‑IP solutions for application delivery and traffic management.

Responsibilities include design and architecture of load balancing, configuring virtual servers, pools, monitors, iRules, SSL profiles, and traffic policies; managing SSL/TLS certificates, WAF and APM services; performing performance tuning, incident and change management; and documenting root causes of issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronics, ICT, or telecommunications, or equivalent.
• In‑depth knowledge of IP networks in multi‑site data centre environments.
• Advanced expertise in F5 solutions, including design and implementation.
• Strong IT security knowledge, including Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work independently and methodically.
• Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.

Responsabilités

• Design load balancing and high‑availability solutions.
• Configure virtual servers, pools, nodes, monitors, iRules, and SSL profiles.
• Manage SSL certificates, offloading, and traffic inspection.
• Deploy and maintain WAF and APM services.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Provide incident, problem, and change management support.
• Analyze root causes and document findings.
