Job summary

HumanInTech in Brussels is seeking an experienced Scrum/PM lead to drive a major application modernisation project across three budget years, combining agile governance with a low-code migration.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage scope, budget, and risks, and report progress to the client while guiding collaboration between business, IT and suppliers.

What you will do

You will lead the Scrum process for a major application modernisation project, migrating a legacy system with over 150,000 lines of code to a modern low-code platform. The project runs in three distinct phases spread across three budget years, each delivering a standalone result.

Your responsibilities include:

• Overall project coordination across the multi-year modernisation effort
• Facilitating Agile and Scrum ceremonies for the multidisciplinary team
• Managing stakeholder relationships and expectations
• Monitoring scope, planning, budget, quality and risks
• Reporting progress to the client organisation
• Guiding collaboration between business, IT and the supplier team

The modernisation approach uses innovative and automated migration methodologies, including artificial intelligence, code analysis and model-driven development, to analyse and reuse existing business logic and application structures.

What we are looking for

The setting

This assignment runs for 25 months from December 2026 to December 2028, working part-time at 2/5. The role is hybrid, based in the Brussels region.

The actual start and volume depend on budget approval. The project is awarded in phases, with each phase ordered separately.
