Asquare Partners in Belgium seeks an experienced P&C Actuary to support the Finance, Actuarial & Reinsurance division. You will define tariffs and pricing characteristics for non-life products, assess profitability, and build models to monitor performance.

The role requires a Master’s degree and roughly 5+ years in non-life insurance, with strong data analysis, actuarial modelling skills and Dutch language proficiency for collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related field.
• Strong command of data analysis, actuarial modelling and statistical methods.
• Proficiency with standard IT tools (Excel, databases, actuarial software is a plus).
• Understanding pricing principles, risk management and non-life insurance regulation.

Our client, an international insurance company, is looking for a Experienced P&C Actuary to support the Finance, Actuarial & Reinsurance division.

He/she will be in charge of the following tasks:

• Define and model the technical and pricing characteristics of non-life insurance products (tariffs, premiums, coverages, terms & conditions, etc.).
• Assess product profitability and perform risk, cost and performance analyses.
• Build and maintain actuarial models tailored to non-life portfolios.
• Monitor product portfolio performance and track key indicators (claims ratios, cost ratios, profitability, etc.).
• Produce analytical reports and recommendations to support management in product development and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, underwriting, underwriting policy and risk teams to ensure product relevance and regulatory alignment.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related field.
• Solid experience (approx. 5+ years) in non-life insurance, ideally in product development, pricing or actuarial modelling.
• Strong command of data analysis, actuarial modelling and statistical methods, as well as proficiency with standard IT tools (Excel, databases, actuarial software is a plus).
• Understanding of pricing principles, risk management and non-life insurance regulation.
• Analytical, rigorous and results-oriented, able to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills (in Dutch), capable of interacting with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Flexible, adaptable and service-minded, with the ability to contribute to the development of innovative and competitive insurance products.
