Samsonite is hiring a Visual Merchandiser Europe to shape in-store experiences across roughly 200 stores in 16 European markets. You will translate brand priorities into compelling windows and product presentations, develop practical VM guidelines, and collaborate with product, design and retail teams to optimize space and display quality.

The role requires strong creative and commercial VM sense, cross-cultural collaboration, and travel across Europe.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar Visual Merchandising role in international retail or premium brands.
• Strong interest in customer experience, product presentation and in-store execution.
• Good eye for composition, color, space and storytelling with commercial VM sense.
• Ability to turn concepts into practical, working store solutions.
• Strong planning and organisational skills across multiple markets and launches.
• Experience collaborating across cultures and levels within an organisation.
• Curiosity about Samsonite products, innovations, and retail environment.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator); CAD/SketchUp advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Shape the European VM direction and develop annual visual merchandising plan aligned with launches and campaigns.
• Create inspiring window concepts, product stories, zoning principles and displays for 16 European markets.
• Translate concepts into clear, practical VM guidelines for diverse store formats with local adaptation.
• Collaborate with Product Merchandising to optimise assortment and space in stores.
• Visit stores regularly to assess execution, provide hands-on guidance and raise VM standards.
• Manage external suppliers, review prototypes and ensure quality and cost targets.
• Act as central VM contact for Retail Managers and coordinate with Store Design and Product teams.
• Monitor trends and extract insights to improve store traffic and sales.
