Position Overview

Chamber of Progress, a tech industry association devoted to technology’s progressive future, is opening a 6-month role for a Policy Fellow in Brussels. The role reports to the Vice President for Europe and involves researching and shaping digital policy.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Chamber of Progress colleagues to build a more innovative Europe
• Provide research and analysis on European tech policy topics
• Address a variety of digital policy areas including artificial intelligence, online safety, competitiveness, blockchain, autonomous vehicles, online speech and content policy, privacy and data protection, sharing economy, taxation, and workforce issues
• Collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and the wider policy community
• Support Chamber of Progress work including organising meetings, events, campaigns, newsletters, and short‑form content
• Strategize with partner companies on European policy matters
• Build relationships with industry stakeholders, civil society, and policymakers
• Draft letters, blog posts, statements, testimony, and consultation responses as needed
• Participate in panels and at conferences to drive the policy discussion

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Organised, curious, multi‑tasker, with an appetite for learning and achievement
• Interest in European politics, government, or public policy
• Excellent English writing abilities; must be a creative, succinct, and a fast writer
• Must be located in Brussels
• Must be able to work as a contractor

Compensation and Terms

• Compensation: €3,300 per month (gross)
• Contractor (fixed 6 month period)
• Role does not include benefits
• Start date: 15 September 2026
