Toyota Motor Europe invites you to join its Indirect Purchasing team in Brussels to shape sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software and Connected Vehicle Services across Europe. As a buyer you will manage supplier relationships and drive value with strategic negotiation and category management.

You should have at least 18 months in indirect procurement, fluent English, and a degree in Business, Economics or Purchasing.

Qualifications

Fluent in English (TME’s business language).
University degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Purchasing.
At least 18 months of professional work experience.
Experience in indirect procurement including IT hardware, software, digital services, and/or Connected Vehicle services.
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Demonstrated analytical skills, accuracy and reliability.
Ability to work independently in multi-disciplinary teams.
Willing to travel up to 20%.

Responsabilités

Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies in IT and Connected Vehicle Services.
Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing based on specifications.
Challenge requirements with internal stakeholders to drive value and reduce total cost of ownership.
Manage all commercial issues related to your portfolio.
Make supplier recommendations to senior management.
Develop understanding of technology market trends and input to global strategies.
