Virya Energy N.V. is seeking a European HSSE Coordinator to harmonize safety governance across Belgium, France, and Poland. The role focuses on implementing policies, aligning standards, and fostering a strong safety culture across European sites.

You will oversee audits, monitor legislation, and coordinate cross-country projects in health, safety, environmental management, and compliance while traveling regularly across sites. The position offers base-location flexibility in the three countries.

Qualifications

10+ years of HSSE experience in an international/multi-site environment.
Solid understanding of European HSSE legislation and experience aligning policies, procedures and standards.
Experience with ISO management systems, preferably ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder influence skills.
Analytical, structured and results-oriented approach.
Willingness to travel between Belgium, France and Poland; base location flexible across these countries.

Responsabilités

Oversee European HSSE governance framework across Belgium, France, and Poland to ensure consistency and compliance.
Act as trusted advisor for local HSE teams and promote a proactive HSSE culture.
Monitor changes in European and national HSSE legislation and translate into internal policies and procedures.
Coordinate internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments; report KPI trends and corrective actions.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and exchange of best practices across sites and countries.
Lead and coordinate cross-country projects related to health, safety, security, environmental management, and compliance.
