Overview

Political Intelligence Brussels is seeking a motivated EU Public Affairs intern to reinforce our team. The role involves supporting key corporate clients and associations, primarily within the digital sector – more specifically in the e-commerce policy sector. The internship will encompass EU policy research, analysis and organisational support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the work of key client accounts in the digital sector
  • Support the coordination of political engagement as well as the organisation of events.
  • Follow key policy debates in the European Institutions.
  • Prepare regular news reports and political analyses.
  • Conduct research on various issues, monitor policy developments and daily news and produce concise reports.
  • Attend conferences, seminars, hearings.
Qualifications
  • Excellent command of English (other EU languages are an asset).
  • Interest in EU Public Affairs, especially for e-commerce trends and policies
  • A solid understanding of the EU, its institutions, and policy-making processes.
  • A university-level degree in law or political sciences.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and analyse legislation, rules and regulations, and summarise them in a clear and concise manner.
