Job summary

H/Advisors Brussels, the EU Public Affairs hub, seeks a motivated Junior Consultant to join its Brussels team. You will support client accounts across public affairs, policy analysis, advocacy and strategic communications, with a focus on tech, competition and financial services sectors.

Qualifications

• One to three years of relevant professional experience in EU affairs, public affairs, advocacy, policy communications or related fields.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with ability to turn complex policy developments into clear analysis.
• Strong research, analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive, collaborative, and able to manage several priorities in a fast-paced consultancy.
• Additional EU language skills (French, Dutch or Spanish) are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day delivery of EU public affairs and strategic communications accounts.
• Monitor EU policy developments and identify issues relevant to clients.
• Prepare concise client updates, briefings, policy notes and background materials.
• Conduct research on EU policy files and stakeholder positions.
• Build and maintain stakeholder maps across EU institutions and associations.
• Support advocacy and stakeholder engagement programs.
• Assist with meetings, events, roundtables and conferences.
• Contribute to policy narratives and strategic communications content.
• Coordinate with colleagues to ensure timely high-quality work.
• Support new business and market research activities.
• Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
