European Space Agency (ESA) seeks a seasoned Spectrum and Signals Officer for the EU IRIS² programme. You will interface with ESA offices, manage industrial activities, and ensure timely delivery of user terminals for governmental services, focusing on spectrum access, 5G signal definition, and programmatic coordination across multiple offices.

You will lead IPT tasks, manage costs and schedules, and contribute to risk management and system-level validations.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in system and/or user terminal design, development and validation, including signal definition.
• Strong expertise in spectrum regulatory matters and processes.
• Experience with large space programmes or projects, ideally in telecommunications domain.
• Demonstrated experience leading a team of technical specialists.

Responsabilités

• Interface with ESA Secure Connectivity System Office and Ground Segment Offices; supervise industrial activities.
• Conduct IPT activities for EU engineering, manufacturing and supply chain capabilities build-up.
• Maintain programme-level schedule, risk and cost plans; support analyses and reviews.
