Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking an EU Field Service Engineer Power to support power projects (generators and Energy Storage Systems) across Europe. You will lead commissioning, start-up and ongoing startup support for industrial customers and work with local teams to ensure reliable operation.

You will travel across Europe, prepare manuals and training content, and train European technicians. Fluency in English and a technical degree are required, with a driving licence B and a customer‑oriented

• Specialized knowledge and experience in commissioning power generators and battery systems.
• Fluency in English and good knowledge of common PC applications.
• Strong administrative skills, with the ability to independently prepare manuals, training content and technical drawings.
• A driving licence B.
• A strong passion for technology and the motivation to continuously develop your expertise.
• Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel across Europe, sometimes for longer periods.
• A customer-oriented, collaborative, methodical and resilient mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of power projects across Europe, working closely with customers and local teams.

• Follow up projects during start-up and throughout the project to help guarantee a reliable operation.
• Perform extensive diagnoses and carry out repairs where needed.
• Document procedures and prepare technical manuals and training content.
• Act as the permanent contact person for specialty power applications.
• Work closely with power specialists within the Atlas Copco Group.
• Share your expertise by providing theoretical and practical training to European technicians.

As an EU Field Service Engineer Power, your mission is to support power (generators and Energy Storage Systems) projects across Europe and ensure a smooth start-up and reliable operation at our industrial customers. Atlas Copco Rental South West Europe provides temporary utility solutions such as compressed air, nitrogen, power, steam and cooling to industrial customers across a wide range of industries. You will report to the EU Service & Hub Team Leader.

You will

• Support the preparation of power projects across Europe, working closely with customers and local teams.
• Take the lead in commissioning and start-up of larger or more complex power projects and applications.
• Follow up projects during start-up and throughout the project to help guarantee a reliable operation.
• Perform extensive diagnoses and carry out repairs where needed.
• Document procedures and prepare technical manuals and training content.

After an induction and training period, as a Service Engineer you will actively participate in the 24/7 service & availability for our customers in Europe.

You will work as a European Field Service Engineer, with a on site location in Belgium, the Netherlands or UK.
