Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred in Public Policy, Economics, Finance, Energy Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in energy policy, investment research, consulting, investment banking, or related fields.
• Significant expertise in European electricity markets, power generation, utilities, grid regulation, and energy transition policy.

Responsabilités

• Lead Capstone’s research and advisory work across European electricity markets, utilities, power generation, grid infrastructure, and energy transition policy.
• Develop differentiated, forward-looking investment theses based on European legislative, regulatory, political, and market developments.
• Serve as a senior advisor and thought leader to institutional investors, including hedge funds, asset managers, private equity firms, and other financial institutions.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with European policymakers, regulators, industry executives, and institutional investors.
• Advise clients on the investment implications of EU and national-level energy policy and regulatory developments.
• Lead senior client engagements, presentations, briefings, and strategic discussions.
• Contribute to business development, including identifying new opportunities, expanding existing relationships, and supporting client acquisition.
• Produce high-quality research reports, policy briefings, investment analysis, and client presentations.
• Represent Capstone at industry conferences, policy forums, and other high-level external engagements.
• Collaborate with Capstone’s global energy and sector teams to deliver integrated, cross-sector insights.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and contribute to the growth of Capstone’s European energy research capabilities
