Eumedica seeks an ESG & Sustainability Coordinator to lead and coordinate sustainability initiatives across the Group, strengthening governance and driving ESG projects from strategy to execution.

You will manage group-wide reporting, regulatory watch, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring data quality and alignment with CSRD, PPWR and other frameworks while partnering with functions to embed sustainability into operations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Sustainability, ESG, Environmental Management, Project Management, Procurement or related function.
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing or other regulated industries is a plus.
• Experience with carbon footprint assessments and sustainability reporting is desirable.

Eumedica is a European pharmaceutical company specializing in pharmaceutical distribution, market access, commercialization and healthcare logistics services.

Over the past few years, Eumedica has established a solid ESG and sustainability framework. As sustainability expectations continue to increase among pharmaceutical manufacturers, healthcare stakeholders and regulators, Eumedica is entering a new phase of maturity.

To support this evolution, we are looking for an ESG & Sustainability Coordinator (Group Function) who will build upon existing initiatives, reinforce governance, coordinate projects across the Group and help transform sustainability into a long-term business capability.

The successful candidate will take ownership of an existing sustainability programme and help elevate it to the next level by increasing robustness, coordination, consistency and operational impact across the Group.

ESG & Sustainability Coordinator

Position Purpose

The ESG & Sustainability Coordinator will serve as the central coordination point for sustainability initiatives across Eumedica Group entities.

The role will ensure continuity of existing programmes while strengthening governance, accelerating implementation of sustainability initiatives and supporting the growing expectations of customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

The position will support all Group entities while acting as the main point of coordination for ESG-related projects, reporting activities and environmental performance improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation and follow-up of the ESG roadmap.
• Support the continuous development of Eumedica's sustainability strategy.
• Monitor ESG objectives, action plans, KPIs and progress against established targets.
• Prepare sustainability updates and reports for management review.
• Maintain sustainability governance processes and periodic sustainability reviews.
• Establish and maintain a structured ESG regulatory watch covering emerging European and national sustainability regulations affecting Eumedica's activities.
• Assess the impact of new regulatory requirements on business operations and coordinate the implementation of compliance action plans.
• Act as the internal focal point for sustainability-related regulatory topics, ensuring timely communication to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of sustainability-related reporting and disclosure requirements, including packaging and waste regulations (PPWR), customer-specific reporting requests and other applicable ESG frameworks.
• Maintain reporting calendars and ensure the availability, quality and traceability of ESG data required for regulatory, customer and sustainability assessments.

Climate & Carbon Management

• Coordinate annual greenhouse gas (GHG) assessments covering Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions.
• Act as the primary interface with external sustainability partners and consultants.
• Support the implementation of Eumedica's carbon reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate sustainability projects related to emissions reduction and operational improvement.
• Support the preparation of future Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitments and climate-related objectives.
• Monitor environmental KPIs related to energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, waste management and water consumption.
• Identify opportunities for environmental improvement across facilities and operations.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability-related infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to the management and optimization of energy-related contracts and sustainability initiatives.
• Support the development of environmental action plans and follow-up activities.

Customer Sustainability Requirements

• Coordinate customer ESG questionnaires and sustainability information requests.
• Support commercial teams during tenders, customer audits and business reviews.
• Ensure the consistency and quality of sustainability information communicated externally.
• Act as a central point of contact for sustainability-related discussions with key customers.
• Monitor sustainability expectations from pharmaceutical manufacturers, healthcare stakeholders and strategic partners.
• Coordinate responses to ESG-related reporting requirements from customers, authorities and rating agencies.
• Support the preparation and validation of sustainability disclosures required for EcoVadis, CDP and other external assessments.
• Support the implementation of sustainable procurement initiatives.
• Contribute to supplier sustainability assessments and ESG maturity evaluations.
• Coordinate the collection of sustainability data from suppliers, transport partners and CDMOs.
• Support the integration of ESG criteria into supplier management processes.
• Facilitate engagement with suppliers and business partners on sustainability topics.

Group Coordination & Project Management

• Act as a sustainability coordinator across Eumedica entities.
• Facilitate the sharing of best practices and sustainability initiatives across the Group.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects supporting sustainability objectives.
• Ensure alignment between local initiatives and Group priorities.
• Support the development of a shared sustainability expertise available to all Group entities.

Profile

Education

• Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics or a related field.

Experience

• 3 to 7 years of experience in Sustainability, ESG, Environmental Management, Project Management, Procurement or a related function.
• Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing or other regulated industries is considered an asset.
• Experience with carbon footprint assessments, sustainability reporting, EcoVadis, CDP or similar sustainability frameworks is desirable.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of ESG and corporate sustainability principles.
• Knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting and the GHG Protocol.
• Familiarity with frameworks and platforms such as:

• SBTi
• CDP
• GRI
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to structure, analyze and communicate sustainability-related data.
• Knowledge of European sustainability regulations and reporting requirements (CSRD, ESRS, PPWR, EU Green Deal and related frameworks).
• Experience managing regulatory monitoring activities and translating regulatory requirements into operational action plans.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint); Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
