ENTICO ICT is looking for a Senior Epic Owner with over 5 years of experience in Agile methodologies, responsible for guiding epics within Agile Release Trains. The ideal candidate should have strong collaboration skills and be adept in stakeholder management.

This role entails defining roadmaps, securing commitments from teams, and actively participating in Program Increment Planning.

This position is open to freelancers and permanent employment, with applicants required to reside in Belgium.

As a senior Epic Owner, you have over 5 years of experience in guiding the epic under the Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Guide the epic through the portfolio Kanban
• Collaborate with other roles, Agile Release Trains, and teams

Preparation of the Epic

• Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to define the epic
• Collaborate with development teams to size the epic and provide input for prioritization
• Create the Lean business case and other relevant factors

Implementation of the Epic

• Define a roadmap: who, when, dependencies, deadlines, milestones
• Secure commitment from Agile Release Trains involved
• Work collaboratively with Product Managers and System Architects from Agile Release Trains to split the epic into features
• Help prioritize these backlog items in their respective ART backlogs
• Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and System Demo
• Evaluate delivered features against the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and epic business case at the end of every PI
• Decide or seek decision on the continuation of the epic implementation at the end of every PI
• Understand and report on the progress of the epic’s MVP with key stakeholders and Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) through KPIs and leading indicators
