Materialise Software is seeking an Engineering Operations Manager to connect engineering with other teams and ensure smooth processes. You will help prioritize roadmaps, optimize workflows, and support product owners in delivering high-quality software for additive manufacturing.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, services, and sales to align plans, establish KPIs, and enable transparent communication.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in product operations or related roles.
  • Experience improving processes and efficiency in product orgs.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, services and sales.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and SharePoint or similar tools.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and regulatory frameworks (ISO 9001, ISO 27001).

  • Own planning and execution of the roadmap; support PMs in prioritizing initiatives.
  • Own and optimize development workflows, tools and documentation for efficiency.
  • Coordinate alignment between engineering and product, services and sales.
  • Support technical product owners in day-to-day work.
  • Coordinate roadmap planning cycles; consolidate insights and track progress.

As Engineering Operations Manager at Materialise Software, you will support our engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions for the additive manufacturing industry. You will be the connection between engineering and other teams, ensuring that our processes run smoothly and our technical product owners are supported in achieving our goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on cross-functional collaboration, lovesoptimizingorganizational systems, and enjoys turning complexity into clarity.

What you will do
  • Own the planning and predictable execution of ourroadmap, andsupport the product managers in prioritizing the roadmap initiatives
  • Own andoptimizeproduct development workflows, tools, and documentation practices as part of the engineering management team to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Coordinate alignment between engineering and product, professional services, and sales teams
  • Manage and support the technical product owners in their day-to-day work
  • Coordinate roadmap planning cycles byconsolidatinginsights, tracking progress, and enabling transparent communication
  • Work with the engineering and product teams to establish KPIs and dashboards to inform decision-making and performance tracking
  • Facilitate product releases and ensure go-to-market readiness through coordination with stakeholders
  • Identifyprocess bottlenecksand proactively implement improvements to increase speed and collaboration
  • Support product managers in budget accountability,facilitatingplanning, and follow-up
  • Apply a servant leadership style, such as ensuring growth and well-being when coaching the technical product owners
Your profile
  • Extensive experience in product operations, product management, engineering/development management, or a related role in a tech-driven environment
  • Experienced with improving processes, tools, and operational efficiency in product organizations
  • Experience with additive manufacturing, or E2E manufacturing systems, is a plus
  • Strong hands-on experience in Azure DevOps andSharePoint(or similar)
  • Solid understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and familiarity with regulatory frameworks (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communicationand stakeholder management skills; able to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences
  • Proactive and pragmatic mindset, witha strong senseof ownership and an eye for continuous improvement
