Materialise Software is seeking an Engineering Operations Manager to align engineering and product teams, drive roadmap execution, and optimize workflows and documentation practices. You will enable go‑to‑market readiness and create KPI dashboards to inform decision‑making, while coaching technical product owners and fostering a servant leadership culture.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in product operations, product management, or engineering/development leadership.
  • Proven ability to improve processes, tools, and operational efficiency in product orgs.
  • Experience with additive manufacturing or end-to-end manufacturing systems is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and SharePoint (or similar).
  • Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (ISO 9001, ISO 27001).
  • Excellent organizational skills with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management; able to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

  • Own the planning and execution of the roadmap and support product managers in prioritization.
  • Own and optimize development workflows, tools, and documentation within the engineering team.
  • Coordinate alignment between engineering, product, services, and sales teams.
  • Manage technical product owners in day-to-day work and budget accountability.
  • Coordinate roadmap cycles and enable transparent communication with teams.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to inform decisions and measure performance.

You will be the connection between engineering and other teams, ensuring that our processes run smoothly and our technical product owners are supported in achieving our goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on cross-functional collaboration, loves optimizing organizational systems, and enjoys turning complexity into clarity.What you will doOwn the planning and predictable execution of our roadmap, and support the product managers in prioritizing the roadmap initiativesOwn and optimize product development workflows, tools, and documentation practices as part of the engineering management team to ensure consistency and efficiency.Coordinate alignment between engineering and product, professional services, and sales teamsManage and support the technical product owners in their day-to-day workCoordinate roadmap planning cycles by consolidating insights, tracking progress, and enabling transparent communicationWork with the engineering and product teams to establish KPIs and dashboards to inform decision-making and performance trackingFacilitate product releases and ensure go-to-market readiness through coordination with stakeholdersIdentify process bottlenecks and proactively implement improvements to increase speed and collaborationSupport product managers in budget accountability, facilitating planning, and follow-upApply a servant leadership style, such as ensuring growth and well-being when coaching the technical product ownersYour profile Extensive experience in product operations, product management, engineering/development management, or a related role in a tech-driven environment Experienced with improving processes, tools, and operational efficiency in product organizations Experience with additive manufacturing, or E2E manufacturing systems, is a plus Strong hands-on experience in Azure DevOps and SharePoint (or similar) Solid understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and familiarity with regulatory frameworks (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, etc.) Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate technical topics for non-technical audiencesProactive and pragmatic mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and an eye for continuous improvementWhat’s waiting for youWork that mattersThe technology we build at Materialise pushes the boundaries.
