Médiane Benelux is seeking an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager to lead multidisciplinary projects in the rocket systems sector. You will oversee embedded systems, electronics, and software delivery, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution while fostering collaboration across engineering, program, and product teams.

The role requires 5+ years in technical project management within high-tech environments, strong systems engineering expertise, and fluency in English and French.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering (systems, electronics, software, or equivalent).
5+ years in technical project management or technical leadership in a high-tech environment (aerospace, defense, embedded systems).
Solid knowledge of systems engineering, MBSE, hardware/software integration, and validation processes.
Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex technical interfaces.
Proven ability to balance technical depth with project execution efficiency.
Familiarity with DO-178C, ARP4754, ISO 26262 is a plus.
Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Polarion, Capella, Windchill, PowerBI.
Fluent in English and French (Dutch or German a plus).

Drive engineering delivery to meet schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (systems, embedded, electronics, software, and test).
Plan, monitor, and deliver engineering work packages using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
Define and maintain the technical schedule, milestones, and deliverables aligned with commitments.
Anticipate and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Apply Agile or V-Model methodologies adapted to defense and high-reliability projects.
Collaborate with Product Design Authority for technical coherence and design integrity.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, reporting progress and decisions.
Work cross-functionally with Program Management, QA, and Supply Chain to ensure standards (ISO 9001, AQAP).
Support certification and qualification activities related to product safety, reliability, and performance.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) to lead and coordinate complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects within the rocket systems sector.

You will oversee the technical delivery of projects involving embedded systems, electronics, and software, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution while fostering collaboration between engineering, program, and product teams.

Your goal is to build a high-performing, goal-oriented engineering team capable of delivering innovative solutions in precision-guided weapon systems.

Main Responsibilities

Drive engineering delivery to ensure projects meet schedule, cost, and quality objectives.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (systems, embedded, electronics, software, and test).
Plan, monitor, and deliver engineering work packages using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
Define and maintain the technical schedule, milestones, and deliverables aligned with contractual and internal commitments.
Anticipate and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Apply and promote Agile or V-Model methodologies adapted to defense and high-reliability projects.
Collaborate closely with the Product Design Authority to ensure technical coherence and design integrity.
Communicate efficiently with internal and external stakeholders, reporting progress, challenges, and technical decisions.
Work cross-functionally with Program Management, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance with standards (ISO 9001, AQAP).
Support certification and qualification activities related to product safety, reliability, and performance.

Profile / Requirements

Master's degree in Engineering (systems, electronics, software, or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years' experience in technical project management or technical leadership within a high-tech environment (aerospace, defense, automotive, embedded systems).
Solid knowledge of systems engineering, including MBSE, hardware/software integration, and validation processes.
Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex technical interfaces.
Proven ability to balance technical depth with project execution efficiency.
Familiarity with industry standards such as DO-178C, ARP4754, ISO 26262 is a plus.
Proficiency with project and configuration tools: MS Project, Jira, Polarion, Capella, Windchill, PowerBI.
