Job summary

ACE is seeking an experienced Account Manager to grow our consultancy business in Belgium. You will develop client relationships, identify opportunities and ensure the right match between clients' needs and our engineering services.

You will leverage a technical background to connect clients with solutions ranging from on-site engineering to machine-building projects, and collaborate with our NiniX Technologies unit where relevant.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in a commercial role within engineering, consultancy or technical services.
• Master’s-level thinking and the ability to work confidently in a technical environment.
• The ability to speak the language of engineering and understand both consultants and clients at a technical level.
• Experience in client-facing work and a genuine interest in building long-term client relationships.
• A collaborative mindset, a strong focus on results and the ability to bring others with you.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to adapt your style to your audience while remaining true to yourself.
• Fluency in Dutch and English. French is an additional advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build strong client relationships and identify new opportunities through client visits, events, trade fairs and your professional network.
• Support our engineering consultants, guide their professional development and maintain a strong connection between the consultant, client and assignment.
• Contribute to growing the team by recognizing strengths, interests and ambitions for clients and projects.
• Understand clients’ technical requirements and collaborate with the project department on solutions, from machine-building to on-site engineering.
