John Cockerill Energy in Belgium seeks a Proposal Engineer to develop technical offers and drive process engineering. You will be the interface between commercial, technical and operations teams, ensuring robust, competitive solutions aligned with client expectations.

You will coordinate bid preparation with electrical, mechanical, thermal, process, and QA teams, define scopes and deviations, support negotiations, and contribute to ISO compliance, estimating and risk management on large-scale

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum three years' experience in a mechanical related industry (HRSG, boilers).
• 5+ years of experience in implementing capital goods projects in energy.
• Ability to read/understand mechanical, electrical and process drawings.
• Technical orientation with knowledge of building machines and thermal processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Autonomous, proactive, and able to work in a multinational environment (Belgium).
• Good problem solver with willingness to work abroad temporarily.
• Proficient with MS Office including Word, Outlook, Excel.

Responsabilités

• Learn and follow ISO processes; collaborate with Sales to develop technical proposals.
• Develop innovative solutions from RFQ; lead customer negotiations on technical requirements.
• Meet sales/technical targets while respecting price, schedule and design constraints.
• Assist Sales with presentations and qualification documents; support market research.
• Evaluate marketability of products and services for customer needs.
• Coordinate bid preparation with electrical, mechanical, thermal, process and QA teams.
• Prepare and assemble the technical offer: performances, scope, P&ID, clarifications.
• Update offers and manage modifications following stakeholder meetings.
