Michael Page is assisting a leading international organization in Brussels with the Data Senior Manager - Energy role to define and drive the enterprise-wide data strategy, ensuring governance, quality, security, and regulatory compliance.

You will lead a 10–15 person team, engage senior stakeholders, and build a data-driven culture while enabling analytics and AI adoption across operations, finance, ESG and corporate functions in a regulated sector. Fluent English and French or Dutch are valued.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership positions within Data, IT, Digital, or Transformation environments.
• Proven experience deploying enterprise-wide data governance frameworks and major data transformation initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to define roadmaps and drive large-scale organizational change.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to executive audiences.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as energy, utilities, or manufacturing is highly valued.
• Exposure to OT/IT, cybersecurity, and AI-related topics is an asset.

• Define and execute the company's enterprise-wide data strategy.
• Establish data governance frameworks, ownership models, and quality standards.
• Develop and oversee the roadmap, programs, and projects to implement the data strategy.
• Drive data-enabled transformation across business functions.
• Ensure regulatory, security, and critical infrastructure compliance.
• Lead and develop a team of 10-15 experts.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including executive leadership and board-level decision-makers.
• Promote a data-driven culture across the organization.
