Aikido is hiring a Software Engineer (Endpoint) to design, build, and maintain endpoint agent components in Rust, Go, and C++ across Windows, macOS, and Linux, focusing on performance, stability, and a low resource footprint.

You will own kernel-level and privileged code, telemetry collection, and real-time detection/prevention work with threat research and detection teams, in an entrepreneurial environment. Fluent English required; candidates in Ghent, Belgium or Iași, Romania are welcome.

Qualifications

• Design, build, and maintain endpoint components in Rust, Go, and C++ across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Focus on performance, stability, and low resource footprint.
• Kernel-level and privileged code experience desirable (Windows/Linux/macOS).
• Telemetry collection, event tracing, and real-time detection logic involvement.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain endpoint agent components in Rust, Go, and C++ across Windows, macOS, and Linux, with a focus on performance, stability, and low resource footprint.
• Develop and maintain kernel-level and privileged code: Windows minifilter/WFP drivers and ETW consumers, macOS System/Endpoint Security Extensions, and Linux eBPF/LSM-based sensors.
• Implement telemetry collection, process/file/network event tracing, and real-time detection and prevention logic in coordination with threat research and detection engineering teams.
• Debug production issues and OS-boundary crashes using WinDbg, LLDB, and crash dumps.
• Own code quality and release readiness: reviews, tests, signing, packaging, and secure coding practices.
